With a little humour, a lot of God’s grace and your support, we all made it through 2020! The year 2020 is finally coming to a close! This year has brought so many challenges to Little Hearts Preschool but also so many good lessons and opportunities to see what the Lord can do and how He provides for us!
The love and guidance we provide for the children here at Little Hearts is more important now than ever!
This last month has been full of holiday activities as we have finally welcomed the winter months here in Jerusalem. This time of year always brings a cosiness to the classroom and a sense of excitement as we light the Hanukkah candles together, prepare traditional donuts in the classroom and learn the story of our Messiah’s birth!
Looking back over this calendar year, I cannot help but feel the gravity of the times we are living in and the unique challenges facing all of us. I believe that the stability and safety, the warmth and familiarity our teachers and classrooms provide has meant the world to these children and their families. With everything changing in our country month to month (closures etc.) our preschool is a constant in these little one’s day to day life. The love and guidance we provide for the children here at Little Hearts is more important now than ever!
As 2020 comes to a close, we want to invite you to join our End of Year giving campaign to close this year off financially secure and start 2021 off right! Our goal is to raise 35,000 USD to give this preschool a jump start on next year with financial responsibility. This sum includes income that was lost during the second COVID closure this fall as well as our scholarship fund over these last few months. Any gift at all adds up to make a huge difference in the way that we can operate the preschool which in turn means more children’s lives are effected for the better on a daily basis! We will be back in the new year with another update on the preschool and God willing a fantastic financial report! We are so grateful for you all, the big hearts for our little hearts!
